At Colville Care we pride ourselves on creating a homely environment with emphasis on social interaction and regular activities to stimulate the mind and body. Mornings are usually a busy time with a range of activities for our residents to take part in. Mealtimes take place in communal areas and are an important part of the day.

Palliative Care

Palliative care is the active care of residents whose condition no longer responds to treatment. Palliative care aims to control pain and other symptoms, ease suffering and enhancing the life that remains.

Palliative care integrates the psychological, social and spiritual aspects of care to enable patients to live out their lives with dignity and in comfort, as well as offering support to their families.

We have the experience within our homes to provide the nursing, social and personal care that is appropriate. Staff working within these facilities will have had specialist training in pain management, symptom relief and bereavement.

Respite Care

After an injury or the onset of a condition, it is sometimes necessary for individuals to stay in a safe and secure environment, that can provide the full range of support services to aid recovery and rehabilitation.
